Fall and Spring Semester Requirements

First-year students living in University Housing assignments listed within the campus-specific menus to the right are required to have a Traditional Meal Plan. These students will be auto-enrolled in the Unlimited Meal Plan each semester, and will have the opportunity to select the 225 Meal Plan or 180 Meal Plan.

First-year students living in University Housing assignments not listed to the right will be auto-enrolled in the 180 Meal Plan. These students will have the opportunity to upgrade to the Unlimited Meal Plan or select the 150 Meal Plan.  

Continuing students (second-year and above) living in University Housing assignments listed to the right are required to have a Traditional Meal Plan. These students will be auto-enrolled in the 180 Meal Plan and may select any other Traditional Meal Plan.

First-year students and Global Scholars living in University Housing assignments listed within the campus-specific menus to the right are required to have a Traditional Meal Plan. These students will be auto-enrolled in the Unlimited Meal Plan each semester, and will have the opportunity to select the 225 Meal Plan.

Continuing students (second-year and above) living in University Housing assignments listed to the right are required to have a Traditional Meal Plan. These students will be auto-enrolled in the 180 Meal Plan and may select any other Traditional Meal plan.

Summer Semester Requirements*

Meal plans are optional for all students residing in University Housing assignments with kitchens. Students may select any available plan if desired.

*Please note that the Summer 1 and Summer 2 terms are each approximately 1/2 as long as the fall/spring terms.

Please note: Requirements are subject to change. Mandatory minimum plans are required by class year and housing assignment. First-year student status and requirements apply to Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 entry students through the end of Summer 1. Community Meal Plans do not satisfy requirements for meal plan required housing.
