Oakland Traditional Meal Plans
Summer 2025- Spring 2026
Introducing For the Love of Food – Northeastern Dining’s meal plans designed by students, for students, exclusively for our Huskies.
Created in partnership with the student-run Northeastern Dining Advisory Board, our meal plans are an invitation to experience all-things Northeastern Dining: For the Love of Food. Go beyond the plate and enjoy the true value of your meal plan with weekly events and activities, cultural celebrations, restaurant pop-ups from Oakland and beyond, nutritional counseling, sustainability moments, and more.
Oakland traditional meal plan options range from unlimited meals per semester for maximum coverage, to fixed numbers of meals for added flexibility and value. Traditional meal plans are designed for students living in meal plan-required housing, but are open to any student who plans to eat the majority of their meals at our Residential Dining locations. Your meals can be used at any time and during any meal period based on your schedule.
Minimum requirements may apply based on class year and housing assignment. Students in meal plan-required housing are automatically assigned a meal plan, and have the ability to select another eligible plan by the second Friday of each semester. Non-required students may select a plan through the Meal Plan Online portal within the Student Hub.
Meal Plan Rates Summer 2025

All plans include a combination of Dining Dollars and Bonus Bucks. Dining Dollars can be used at the Tea Shop and Cafe Suzie. Bonus Bucks can be used at the Tea Shop, Cafe Suzie, or to order delivery from off-campus locations via Grubhub+ when campus dining locations are closed. Plans are optional and designed for students to use to supplement their dining options. For convenience, a complimentary shuttle service is provided with designated stops near Trader Joe’s and other local shopping options.
